Monsoon to continue active for couple of days

Kathmandu, July 2. Monsoon will become active for the next three days with the monsoon low-pressure system advancing towards Nepal, said Meteorological Forecasting Division.
There is the possibility of heavy rainfall in some areas of the country for the next three days, said a statement released on Sunday by the Division. Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has also forecasted rains in the country.
The Department has urged the concerned authorities to be alert and come up with preparedness for flooding as many rivers may get swollen due to rains.
The Division on Sunday recorded 63 ml rains in Bhairahawa, 62 in Pokhara, 51 ml in Simara, 27 in Biratnagar and 10 in Biratnagar and Dhangadhi each.
