ICC U-19 World Cup: Nepal to face Bangladesh in quarter-finals
Kathmandu February 2– Nepal will take on Bangladesh in the quarter-finals of the ICC U-19 World Cup at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.
In the match played yesterday, Nepal suffered a seven-wicket loss at the hands of India in the Group ‘D’ match of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup.
Nepal and India both have qualified to the quarter-finals. With the win India topped the chart with six points and net run rate of +2.581 followed by Nepal at four points, with run rate +0.032.
In the Group ‘A’ stage match played today, Bangladesh defeated Namibia by eight wickets and the win meant Bangladesh are the groupwinners.
India will face Namibia in the quarter-finals at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium at 9 am local time on Saturday.
