Second International Chess Tournament in Ilam

Ilam, April 18 – The Ram Prasad Gautam Memorial Second International Chess Tournament is to be organised from the third week of April in Ilam.
Players of more than 10 countries including Nepal, India and Bangladesh would participate in the Tournament going to be organised jointly by the Gajurmukhi Chess Club and District Chess Association, Ilam.
The prize will be of Rs 400,000, said Club Chairman Madhav Chamlagain.
As many as 50 players including Rating group and unrated players would be awarded.
First, second and third winners would get Rs 80,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively, according to the organizers.
