SAG gold medalists to get Rs 2.5 m

Kathmandu, Dec 11 – Nepal government has decided to grant 2.5 million rupees as a home facility to the winners of three or more than three gold medals in the South Asian Games (SAG).
Nepal government is taking this decision with the view to boost the the morale of the Nepali players so that they can improve their performance in SAG in upcoming days.
According to the source, the former marathon gold medalist Baikuntha Manandhar and Taekwondo star Deepak Bista have been nominated for the prize.
