Nepal is challenged a run target of 144

Kathmandu, Nov 27 – Hong kong has set a run target of 144 over Nepal in the vital fixture of ICC World Twenty 20 Qualifiers. Nepal seems to have a great Challenge to defeat Hong kong and its run target.

 

 Opener Waqas Barkat (25), Mark Chapman (25), Munir Dar (20), Babar Hayat (10) and Tanwir Afzal (25) contribtued for Hong Kong that made 143/8 after benig invited to bat first.

 

Jeetendra Mukhiya was the peak of Nepali bowling claiming highest three wicket in his four over spell conceding 32 runs. Avinash Karna bagged two wicket and skipper Paras Khadka claimed one.

 

Victory in the match will assure Nepal a direct entry in the World T20 World Cup in Bangladesh next year. The loser of the match will get another shot to grab a place in the World Cup.
