Nepali wrestling team left for Iran

Kathmandu, Oct 30 – A two-member team left for Iran to participate in the First Wrestling Championship World Cup to be held in Loresthan, Iran on Wednesday.
The Wrestling World Cup Championship will start in the Iranian town of Loresthan from October 29 and will conclude on November 2.
Satyendra Yadav who bagged a silver medal in the 11th South Asian Games will compete in the 90 kg and above weight category.
President of Nepal Jorkhane Sports Association, Karna Bahadur Shahi, is the official of the World Cup Championship.
Players from 31 countries would be competing in the championship in the 90 kg and above weight category. The winner of the championship will bag 15 thousand US dollars, second will receive a cash purse of 10 thousand US dollars and third will pocket 500 US dollars.
