First Inter School NSFA Cup Football Tournament Kicks Off

First Inter School NSFA Cup Football Tournament  kicked off on Friday at Sanogaucharan Football ground.
     

Secretary of youth and sports ministry Mr. Hari Nepal inaugurated the tournament by lightening an oil lamp and handing over the ball to referee Yogendra Khadgi.60 teams are participating from Kathmandu district.

The selection tournament of Kathmandu will be played for 10 days.

Kathmandu district selection will take place in three places; Sano Gaucharan, Lab school and Tokha Bhutkhel ground.

Himalayan School hammered Chhahari School 5-1 in the opening match.

Satish Adhikari (22' &39') scored a brace while Sandip Adhikari (19') , Abhishek karki (43') and Anuj Niraula (57') scored apiece for the winning side.

Sulav Rai scored a consolation goal in the 2nd minute for Chhahari.
