Nepal beats Bangaldesh in opening match
Kathmandu, Sep 1 – Nepal has defeated Bangladesh by 2-0 in 8th SAAF championship tournament.
The goal made by Anil Gurung and Bharat Khawas at the first half made Nepal a winning team against Bangladesh. This is Nepal’s second victory over Bangladesh in SAAF cahmpionship. Nepal in 2011 had defeated Bangladesh by 1-0 at Delhi stadium.
Nepal since 1997 has entered in semifinal for two times only. Nepal will be palying its next game with Pakistan on Tuesday.
Today’s match will be held between India and Pakistan at Dasarath Stadium at 6.30pm.
