Nepal sets 157-run target against Pakistan
Kathmandu, August 21 – Nepal set a 157-run target against Pakistan under-23 side at the final group match of the ACC (Asian Cricket Council) Emerging Teams Cup being held in Singapore on Wednesday.
In a toss,Nepal was invited to bat first against the Pakistan, Nepal could only score 156 runs with loss of all the wickets in 50 overs. For Nepal only three batsmen managed to reach double figure. Among them, opener Suvash Khakurel top scored with 78 runs.
For Pakistan, Raja Hasan picked three wickets whereas Usman Qadir grabbed two wickets.
As Nepal has already lost in two matches, it now must beat Pakistan U-23 by a huge margin to stay alive in the competition.
