Nepal gets 170-run target in ACC Emerging Teams Cup

Kathmandu, August 17 – In an ongoing ACC Emerging Teams Cup, Aafganistaan has challenged  a run of 170 to Nepal. Afganistaan which had got chance to bat first in toss could make 169 run in 50 over losing 9 wickets.

 

Basanta Regmi from Nepal made 31 run with 5 wicket whereas Sagar Pun, Abhinaas Karna and Chandra Saud secured 1-1 wicket.

 

For team Afganistan Asghar Stanikzao top scored with 33 runs. Likewise, opener Nawroz Mangal scored 31 runs whereas Gulbadin Naib made unbeaten 30 runs.   

 

Nepal is unable to defeat Afghanistan since 2004 AD.thus focous of Nepali team in todays match is to have a record victory over srilanka.

 

Nepal, which recently won the World Cricket League Division 3, is also aiming to secure World Cup qualification.
