Nepal loses to India in SAFF U-16 championship final

Kathmandu, July 30 – Nepal loses to India in SAFF U-16 championship by 1- 0.Nepal’s dream to end two-decade long title drought in international football went in vain as they failed to bounce back.

India have clinched the second SAFF U-16 Championship title defeating hosts Nepal 1-0 in the final at the Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday.

Nepal had hammered Bangladesh 5-1 and made it to the final, while India had advanced to final defeating Afghanistan 4-3 in penalty shootout.
