SAFF U-16 Championship from July 20

Kathmandu, July 18 – All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is all set to organise SAFF U-16 Championship from July 20 to 30, 2013.

Organising a press conference on Wednesday, the football governing body said that it has completed all the preparation to host the tournament.

All together seven national teams of South Asia including Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Afghanistan will participate in the league-cum-knockout format event. However, Maldives is not taking part in the championship.

ANFA has   fixed the tickets price at Rs. 300 for closed parapet and Rs. 100 for open parapet.   The matches will be played at two venues – Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwar and Army ground Lagankhel, said ANFA.
