Nepal made strong start against Afganistan
Kathmandu, July 13 – Nepal has made a strong start in the First South Asian Invitational Men’s Invi-tational Volleyball Champion-ship after defeating Afghanistan 22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 24-26, 15-9 at Tripureshwor covered hall on Friday(as per the news report in kantipur).
Led by the new captain Kailash Datta Bhatta, Nepal bagged two points, a point advantage over Afghanistan, who earnned a point despite their loss for taking the match to the wire. Sri Lanka currently leads the table with three points after their dominant 3-1 win over Maldives later in the day.
