RPP votes Counting from today

Kathmandu, May 21 – Counting of vote s of the election held for the post of the central members of the new Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) in the ongoing then RPP and Rastriya Janashakti Party unity general convention will begin from Tuesday.
Voting for the 71 posts of central members (elected) concluded on Monday evening and counting of the vote s will begin today, said Joint-coordinator of the Convention's Publicity Committee Kiran Giri.
A total of 147 candidates were in the fray in the election where 2,117 general convention vote d for the candidates of their choice.
It may be noted that the unity convention has already elected Surya Bahadur Thapa unanimously as the Chairman of the new party. The party will be named Rastriya Prajatantra Party and will continue with the same election symbol of 'plough' and the party flag as with the previous RPP. The unity convention began on May 17. RSS
