Victorious Nepali team returns

Kathmandu, May 8 – After earning berth in the 2014 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier, Nepali crickets have landed at Tribhuwan Internation Airport (TIA) on Wednesday morning.
They are receiving grand welcome from their supporters and officials.
Likewise, National Sports Council Member Secretary Yubaraj Lama on Monday said the government will honour the national team cricketers with one million rupees each if they reach the 2015 World Cup.
“It is about giving respect to the athletes who make the nation proud. If Nepal reach the 2015 Cricket World Cup, we will reward each member of the team with one million rupees,” said the member secretary.
The NSC has already announced a cash prize of Rs 350,000 each to the members of the current national team that reached the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier by entering the final of the ICC World Cricket League Division-III in Bermuda

The Nepali national cricket team has returned to the Capital on Wednesday after winning the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 tournament in Bermuda.
The champions were greeted by large number of cricket fans who had reached the Tribhuvan International Airport to greet their team. The team will be felicitated by Sports Minister Ram Kumar Shrestha and member secretary of the National Sports Council after going en route to the Capital to receive felicitation.
