Nepal to fight with the match against USA

Kathmandu, April 28 – Nepal will begin ICC Cricket League Division 3 campaign with the match against USA at the Somerset Cricket Club, Bermuda, on Sunday.

 

In order to keep their dreams of playing in the 2015 World Cup alive, Nepal need to finish inside the top two in the six-nation tournament, which will take them to the World Cup Qualifiers, which will be held in New Zealand in 2014 with 10 leading associate and affiliate teams. The top two sides in the Qualifiers will then advance to the 2015 World Cup.

 

Both Nepal and the US had climbed to Division 4 and 3 together with Nepal emerging the champions and USA runners-up on both the occasions.

In the previous two matches, Nepal had got the better of USA.
