BANIYANI (JHAPA), JUNE 24: The blacktopping of the six-kilometre road along the Birtamod-Sanishchare road section in Jhapa is being carried out at the cost of Rs 155 million.

In the first phase, around one and a half kilometres of the road have been blacktopped from the bridge at Arjundhara-6, Mahanandachowk, said Ujjwal Khatiwada, an engineer at the Road Division Office, Damak. "The road is being constructed as per the multi-year plan," he said, adding that the work could be completed within three to four days if the weather permits.
