Himalayan Reinsurance receives 'A' rating

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 9: Himalayan Reinsurance Company has been upgraded to an 'A' rating by ICRA Nepal. The company previously had an  'A-' rating.

Based in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, the upgrade reflects the company’s strong financial performance and timely service delivery. Additionally, the company has issued 30 percent of its shares to the public.

Himalayan Reinsurance offers reinsurance support to both life and general insurance companies, both within Nepal and internationally.
