Dipal L07 Premium EV to make a debut in NADA Auto Show

Sedan expected to gain traction with its futuristic design and innovative features

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 16: Changan Nepal is set to unveil the highly anticipated Dipal L07 Premium EV at the upcoming NADA Auto Show, following the success of the Dipal S07 Premium EV. The show is taking place at the Bhrikuti Mandap in the capital from August 11 to 16.

 MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the official distributor of Changan in Nepal, expects that the L07 will also gain traction in the country's automobile market with its cutting-edge features. 

Key features of  Dipal L07 Premium EV

1) Design: In terms of design, the successor is similar to the predecessor. Designed in Turin, Italy, which is considered a design heritage site, the LO7 won the prestigious Red Dot Award 2023, often referred to as the "Oscars of design."

The sleek aerodynamic profile, enhanced by frameless doors and an electric hidden door handle system, is further improved in this model.  Its panoramic glass roof not only adds to the beauty but also provides an open and luxurious experience.

2) Gesture Control: This feature allows users to command functions like music, phone calls, and taking photos with hand gestures.

3) Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR HUD): It provides real-time navigation and other important information, making driving not only easier but also safer, according to the company.

4)  Dedicated EPA 1 platform:  ​​​​​​​It features a 99 kW capacity with a 66.8 kWh battery that offers a range of 530 kilometres on a single charge. This makes the sedan both luxurious and capable for long journeys, the company claims.

5) Safety:  The car has safety features like Interactive Adaptive Cruise Control with Intelligent ADAS 2.5, six airbags, Automatic Emergency Braking, a Driver Fatigue Monitoring System, Safe Distance Warning, a 360-degree camera with Transparent Chassis, a drive video recorder, and Distract Warning, among many

Apart from these main features,  the Dipal L07 Premium EV sedan has a cabin sporting a 15.6-inch "Sunflower Touchscreen" (that rotates towards the passengers for interaction), and a "Welcoming Seat" (that adjusts itself according to the driver's height), making it easier to get in and out of the vehicle..

According to the company, he car offers four driving modes—Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Customize—allowing drivers to tailor their driving experience to their preferences.
