NEPSE gains by 78.17 points; daily turnover reaches Rs 8.192 billion

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 12: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a notable surge of 78.17 points today, the last trading day of the week. The market index increased by 78.17 points, closing at 2,688.38 points. The sensitive index, which assesses the performance of 'A' class companies, climbed by 13.40 points to reach 478.48. Out of 13 sub-groups, the share prices of 12 sub-groups increased, while the share price of one sub-group declined.
A total of 19.433 million units of shares were traded, amounting to Rs 8.1692 billion. According to NEPSE, the share prices of Win Nepal Microfinance, Green Ventures Limited, Eastern Hydropower, and Rawa Energy recorded a 10 percent gain in value.
Similarly, investors in Asian Hydropower earned a 9.99 percent increase in their share value.
On the other hand, the share price of Three Star Hydropower plunged by 10 percent, followed by Sanima Large Cap Fund, which dropped by 8.49 percent. RBB Mutual Fund-2 decreased by 4.1 percent, Sunrise Fast Mutual Fund by 3.71 percent, and Sanima Growth Fund by 3.65 percent.
