Royal Tulip to debut in Nepal with Rs 1.8 billion luxury resort

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 23:  Royal Tulip, the luxury brand of the Europe-basedLouvre Hotels Group, is set to debut in Kathmandu with the signing of its first resort in Budhanilkantha. Developed by Classic View Resort Limited and managed by Sarovar Hotels in South Asia, it aims to help elevate Nepal’s status in the global luxury travel market.

The project is led by Mr. Mukunda Raj Kunwar, Chairman, and Mr. Aashish Dhakal, Director and Co-Founder of Global Equity Fund Limited.

Located in the foothills of Budhanilkantha, the resort is expected to offer a peaceful retreat just 30 minutes from the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Spread across 26 ropani of land, the resort is projected to have a total investment of Rs 1.8 billion.  "It will feature 75 spacious and elegantly designed rooms that blend modern comforts with Nepal’s natural landscapes. Guests will have access to a grand 500-seat banquet hall, a world-class spa, steam rooms, private Jacuzzis, and an array of wellness amenities," states the source. " With uninterrupted views of the majestic Himalayas, the resort promises a serene escape for both domestic and international travellers."
