Arksh Food comes up with millet biscuits and cookies
KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 29 : Arksh Food has launched millet biscuits and cookies in the Nepali market. The company stated that these products, made from a blend of locally produced millet and whole wheat flour, have been introduced keeping in mind the taste and health of general consumers.
“We have taken a significant step towards providing healthy snacking options with our millet biscuits and cookies,” said Rajul Shrestha, CEO of Arksh Group. “Today’s consumers are more conscious about their food choices and are seeking healthier alternatives. To cater to this demand, we developed these millet-based products after conducting thorough market research.”
Millet is a highly nutritious grain, packed with protein, fiber, calcium, iron, and antioxidants. Its health benefits include helping control diabetes, improving digestion, and aiding in weight management. Regular consumption of millet can enhance immunity and help strengthen bones.
The company has also announced plans to expand its biscuits internationally further. Aaksh Food has already begun exporting to Australia and has sent samples to India and Dubai to start selling its products there.
Aarks Food’s millet biscuits and cookies are available across major supermarkets in Nepal, including Bhatbhateni, grocery stores, and online shopping platforms.
The millet biscuits and cookies are also being promoted at the ongoing Stock Clearance Fair at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, where visitors can enjoy free tastings and a “buy two, get one free” offer, according to the company.
