Laxmi Motor starts manufacturing Hyundai's Venue E variant in Nepal

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 4 : Laxmi Motor Corporation, the producer of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has lately started manufacturing the Venue E variant as well. The corporation had previously begun production of the Venue S and SX variants in May 2024. Laxmi Motor Corporation is a sister company of Laxmi Intercontinental, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal.

With the commercial production of the Hyundai Venue in Nepal, the company launched the campaign Hyundai NEPAL: MADE FOR YOUR JOURNEY. It has been reported that around 250 units have already been sold through its dealerships. The introductory price for the Hyundai Venue E is set at NPR 4,096,000 for a limited period. However, the company has stated that this price does not include any current offers or discounts targeting the ongoing Dashain and Tihar festivals.

The prices for other Venue variants currently available in Nepal are set at NPR 4,496,000 for Venue (S) 1.2 and NPR 5,356,000 for Venue (SX) 1.2. The company is offering 10 years of free servicing and a 3-year warranty for the Made in Nepal Hyundai Venue.

Laxmi Motor Corporation was established in Nepal through the investment of Laxmi Group and in technical collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. The company aims to contribute to the country's industrialization, import substitution, job creation, increase in domestic revenue, skill and technology development, establishment of auxiliary industries, consumption of local resources and electricity, contribution to GDP, and providing vehicles at affordable prices to consumers.

The company has also announced plans to expand production to include additional variants and models in the future.
