KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 19: The Malaysian automobile brand Proton has introduced its first electric vehicle (EV), the E-Mas Seven, to the Nepali market. Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of the Proton brand in Nepal, unveiled the car on Wednesday during a special event.
The company has introduced two variants of the vehicle: Prime and Premium. The Prime variant is equipped with a 49.52 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 345 kilometres. Meanwhile, the Premium variant comes with a 60.22 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 410 kilometres.
The newly launched EV features new-generation Short Blade battery technology, which is said to be more efficient than the previous LFP battery. It is also equipped with modern features such as a windshield head-up display and front-ventilated seats. Additionally, the 12-in-1 electric drive system used in E-Mas Seven is claimed to enhance its performance and efficiency.
Furthermore, the car supports 100 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes, according to the company.
