Gold price reaches new high

KATHMANDU, MARCH 18: The price of gold has increased by 1,100 rupees per tola, reaching a new high.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs' Association, hallmark gold is currently being traded at 175,200 rupees per tola. On Monday, the price of hallmark gold was 174,100 rupees per tola.
Earlier, on March 14, the price of gold had reached a record high of 174,500 rupees per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased by 10 rupees per tola on Tuesday. It is now trading at 2,050 rupees per tola. On Monday, the price of silver was 2,040 rupees per tola.
