Himalayan Bank helps police in Parsa

KATHMANDU, MAY 6: Himalayan Bank Limited, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has extended its helping hand to the District Police Office in Birgunj of the Parsa district. The office had requested the Bank to provide a movable bodyworn camera that would help them control illicit and unwanted activities in and around the district. Upon the request, the Bank yesterday donated 5 units of bodyworn GoPro Hero 12 Camera along with a Chest Strap worth Rs 307,500 considering the motive of maintaining safety and security in the area.
On behalf of the Bank, Mr. Pawan Agrawal, Executive Administrative Officer and
Mr. Sagar Kumar Regmi, Province Head of Madhesh Province, handed over the camera
to Mr. Kumud Dhungel, Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Birgunj,
Parsa in the presence of other staff of the Bank as well as the District Police Office.
