2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 rolls on Nepali roads
KATHMANDU, APRIL 25: Jagdamba Motors Private Limited, an authorised distributor of TVS Motor Company (TVSM), launched a new 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 motorcycle in Nepal. “The product, introduced yesterday, comes updated with striking style elements and new attractive graphics that are in line with its racing DNA. Its new-gen engine boasts best-in-class power, while its reduced friction ensures improved performance and mileage for riders,” claims a press release issued by the company.
Shahil Agrawal, Managing Director, Jagdamba Motors, reportedly said, “The motorcycle is fitted with Remora Tubeless Tyres and Disc Brake, both contributing to superior grip, enhanced ride quality, and a fully digital instrument cluster with SmartXonnectTMpowered with Bluetooth for improved overall performance.”
Powered by the RTR oversquare new-gen engine, the two-wheeler boasts a four-stroke, fuel-injected 159.7 cc single-cylinder, two-valve SOHC air-cooled engine. This delivers a maximum power of 11.19 kW at 8500 rpm and 13.08 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.
A double-cradle Synchro Stiff Chassis, a five-speed gearbox, and 270 mm Roto-Petal Disc Brakes are other prominent features of the motorbike.
The 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 is available in five colours – Matte Blue, Racing Red, Gloss Black, T Grey and Pearl White, starting at a price of NPR 3,05,900.
