Nepal Telecom to provide free internet in 34 airports

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 25: Nepal Telecom is gearing up to provide free Wi-Fi internet service in 34 airports within six months. Nepal Telecom and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) have inked an agreement to provide free Wi-Fi access in the airports.
CAAN spokesperson and deputy director-general Jagannath Niraula said that CAAN was excited to have struck the agreement with Nepal Telecom to manage free Wi-Fi internet service in 34 airports.
Under the agreement, free internet service installation will be completed in all airports within next six months.
Nepal Telecom’s chief commercial officer Binita Shrestha and CAAN spokesperson Niraula signed the agreement, the CAAN sources said.
