NEPSE goes up by more than 15 points

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 12: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has today increased by 15.33 points to close at 2,101.16 points. The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies also shed 1.24 points. The daily turnover went down to Rs 3.58 billion from Rs 4.08 billion on Sunday. Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) posted the highest turnover of Rs 23 crores.
During the trading session on Monday, the sub-indices of all sectors except for the Others closed in the green. The Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest increase of 2.22%.
Company-wise, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited was the top gainer with its per-share price going up by 10 per cent. On the contrary, the market value of NIC Asia Growth Fund-2 suffered the most at 8.89 per cent.
