IME Group concludes “Motul Dealer Meet”
KATHMANDU, JANUARY 15: IME Group, the official distributor for Motul Lubricants in Nepal under its subsidiary IME Electrical, has concluded the Motul Dealer Meet at Hotel Everest in the capital. The event held last Friday witnessed the participation of various dealers from different regions in the Dealer Meet.
During the occasion, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) as well as Chairman of IME Group, announced that the Group has entered into a new venture in the lubricant business with Motul, a globally renowned lubricant brand. “This strategic initiative is particularly noteworthy as it unfolds during a period when the country is in the process of recovering from an economic downturn.”
Similarly, Hemant Puranik, CEO of the IME Automobile Division, shared that after being involved in various businesses for more than the past 25 years, IME Group has now entered the lubricant business, aligning with the prestigious international brand Motul, known for providing high-quality lubricants. He emphasized the significance of Motul in Nepal and their dedication to making Motul a well-respected brand in the country.
Nagendra Pai, CEO of Motul India Private Limited, expressed his happiness in collaborating with a prominent group in Nepal. He mentioned that Motul has established itself as a respected brand in India and other countries, and this partnership also aims to elevate Motul’s reputation in Nepal.
Preetam Goswami, Marketing Director of Motul India, provided insights into Motul’s unique brand features. He mentioned that Motul, the first company to use real synthetic branding, has created a distinct identity as the “Youth Brand.”
