IFC Vice President Susan Lund visits Upaya’s Fulfillment Centre
Kathmandu, August 4. Vice-President – Economics and Private Sector Development of The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Ms. Susan Lund visited Upaya’s Fulfillment Centre (Upaya Space) located at Pepsicola, Kathmandu, to understand Nepal’s logistics landscape. IFC Vice-President Lund, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, was welcomed by Managing Director & Co-founder of Upaya, Mr. Suman Rayamajhi and Mr. Ranjeev Shrestha, Co-Founder and Board Member of Upaya.
During her visit to Upaya’s Fulfillment Centre (Upaya Space), VP Susan Lund was provided with the valuable insights on the history and current context of the logistics industry in Nepal and was also briefed on Upaya’s operations and future plan to transform the logistics sector through infrastructure and technology along with impactful & efficient management. She was given a comprehensive tour of the facility and also engaged with Upaya’s management team to understand the current operations of third-party logistics (3PL) services provided by Upaya.
The representatives of Dolma Impact Fund and other IFC officials were present during the visit. Upaya is a leading logistics company enabled by technology to deliver quality logistics solutions. The company was founded in 2018 and has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Currently, Upaya has been providing logistics services across four verticals targeted towards the needs of different types of businesses and individuals in Nepal. Upaya’s Fulfillment Center (Upaya Space) at Pepsicola is a 10,000 sqft warehousing space which serves as a modern 3PL facility enabling efficient order fulfillment and distribution of goods all over Nepal to 150+ locations.
