Kathmandu, Dec 12. In celebration of Islington College and its graduating batches of 2022. Graduation is an inevitable consequence for every dedicated student who has been diligent throughout their college life.
The scene of a grand ceremony honoring the accomplishments of the students bursting with happiness and celebrations is a moment that is cherished by every loving parent, teacher, and student. Now that the predicament has passed, with conditions and people returning to normalcy, Islington College is organizing the Graduation Ceremony for the Classes of 2022.
From the IT Faculty, there are a total of 835 graduates from the specializations BSc (Hons) Computing, BSc (Hons) Computer Networking and IT Security, and BSc (Hons) Multimedia Technologies, while also including 72 Graduate degree holders from MSc Information Technology in the year 2022 and 94 from BA (Hons) Business Administration. The year 2022 sees a total number of 929 graduates with an IT Degree, and Business Degree.
The Annual Graduation Ceremony also brings us an opportunity to highlight some of our outstanding graduates and reward the forerunners with our prestigious International Student House/ London Metropolitan University Scholarships and our Postgraduate Innovate Nepal Group scholarships who will be further pursuing masters in one of the ING colleges. All of the graduates were personally congratulated by Mr. Sulav Budhathoki, founder and chairman of Islingto College and ING, and Professor Julie Halls, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), London Metropolitan University.
Mr. Budhathoki expressed, “This ceremony of success is marked as the transition of our relationship. We were a teacher and a student. Now, we will be transiting to different relationships. We will be colleagues, working together as business partners to make an impact and make a difference, or maybe we will be business competitors too. More than that, we are a family.” The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, at London Metropolitan University, also took a moment to recognize the achievements of the students and the college itself. She said, “To educate a child is to educate a family, and to educate a family is to educate a community, it is now your turn to help others grow and give back to society.”
Islington College Kathmandu has been providing an immersive and professional curriculum to its students for over 25+ years through its Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, and Master’s in Information Technology and Applied Security. Lastly, Islington College Kathmandu extends its sincere congratulations to the Class of 2022 graduates as well as the recipients of our International Student House/ London Metropolitan University Scholarships, and our Postgraduate Innovate Nepal Group scholarships and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.
