Herald College Kathmandu graduates 481 students
Kathmandu, July 22. Herald College Kathmandu conducted a graduation ceremony for 481 students in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The graduates consisted of 160 students from the BSc (Hons) Computer Science 2019/20 batch, 26 from the BSc (Hons) International Business Management 2019/20 batch, 249 from the BSc (Hons) Computer Science 2020/21 batch, and 46 from the BSc (Hons) International Business Management 2020/21. The much-awaited graduation ceremony was delayed by two years due to the health protocols set by the government during the pandemic.
Herald College, a part of the ING Group, is affiliated with the prestigious University of Wolverhampton, UK. At the graduation ceremony, Tim Steele, Pro-Vice-Chancellor from the University of Wolverhampton, handed over the certificates to the graduating students.
During his speech at the ceremony, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor congratulated the students and expressed happiness about being able to collaborate with an institution in Nepal. Likewise, ING Group – Founder and Chairman, SulavBudhathokiemphasized how Herald College is providing international-level education in Nepal. “Herald College has set a benchmark for providing international-level quality education in Nepal,” said founder Budathoki, “The graduates are industry ready for not just the Nepal market but also for the global market.”
Herald College has been operating in Nepal since 2017, offering courses in Bachelor in Information Technology, Bachelor in International Business Management and International Masters of Business Management for the graduate level. The college presented 49 students with the Attitude, Academics and Attendance (AAA) scholarship that waives off 100% of their tuition fees.
ING Group constitutes of Islington College and Herald College in Kathmandu, Informatics College Pokhara, Itahari International College and Biratnagar International College.
