Nepalese Marketing Association (NMA) Launched
Kathmandu, Dec 24. NMA- Carrying a unified voice to help marketing professionals all over the country to attain the best practice, NMA (Nepalese Marketing Association) has been registered as a non-profit organization to aid the marketing arena of Nepal. The association comprises of members from academicians and marketing professionals. NMA in a formal program for their launch at the Hotel Soaltee announced the interim board which is headed by the team member – Mr. Mahesh Swar (the AGM of Kantipur Media Group as President), Dr. Gopal Thapa (Associate Professor of Tribhuvan University as General Secretary), Mr. Sushil Awale (Associate Professor as Secretary), Ms. Punam Singh (AGM Marketing for Golchha Group as Treasurer). Likewise, other members of the board are Mr. Abhaya Gorkhali, Mr. Suman Shakya, Ms. Srijana Joshi Maharjan, Mr. Satyendra Upreti and Mr. Surendra Thapa.
In the program, NMA felicitated Dr. Tulsi Dharel as honorary member for playing active role in development of NMA. Including three more members Dr. Bagala Basnet (Veteran academician of Tribhuvan University), Mr. Rabindra Man Shrestha (Former General Manager of Mayos Noodles), Mr. Ravi K.C (Vice president of Surya Nepal) were recognized for their outstanding efforts in the marketing field.
NMA aims to foster a stronger interest in and concern for education, to aid marketing professionals in their efforts to advance their personal and professional lives, and to promote the integration of ethical issues and general marketing practices. NMA is fully committed to support and develop marketing world and alongside seeks to develop mutually beneficial relationships with corporations that are passionate about its mission and work collaboratively to educate, motivate and inspire relevant stakeholders.
Furthermore, NMA also announced their first initiative “Let’s Brand Nepal” which will delve into more details in the following months to come and give more information in the future.
