Minister Khatiwada vows to work with new energy 


Kathmandu, March 4 . Minister for Finance, and Communications and Information Technology, Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, has said that his reappointment to the post of minister was for working with new energy.

While assuming the office at the Finance Ministry on Wednesday after his reappointment, Minister Khatiwada said he would continue Nepal’s fight against poverty, illiteracy and injustice. He however said common efforts are necessary to fight poverty.”

The Minister admitted though the country was in the path of achieving high-economic growth and the economic index too were positive, there some external challenges before national economy. Saying many laws were formulated to create investment-friendly environment and to collaborate with private sectors, the Finance Minister stressed the need of moving ahead towards the commercial environment improvement. Secretary, joint-secretary and chiefs of the subordinate bodies were present on the occasion.
