Pokhara, July 9. A State Assembly meeting of Gandaki Province on Sunday unanimously passed three bills.
The endorsed bills include the Bill made to implement the proposal related to Province Emergency Fund, the Bill made to Facilitate Local Levels in Formulating Laws and the Bill made to manage the process related to Immunisation Service Operation and Management.
The emergency fund-related Bill was tabled by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of the Province Kiran Gurung, while law-making linked Bill was tabled by Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Ram Sharan Basnet and Immunisation Service related Bill by Minister for Social Development Nara Devi Pun.
Speaking during the special hour, lawmakers demanded compensation to the families of those killed in Mustang tipper accident and treatment for those injured.
