KATMANDU, APRIL 8: Mega Business Group Pvt Ltd. has lately entered into an agreement with a world-famous vehicle manufacturer China Hi-Tech Off-Road Vehicle Company (CHTC Motors) as per which the former will act as an official exclusive distributor of the latter for the entire Nepali market.
With such a deal, electric 11-seat and 14-seat vans manufactured by CHTC Motors will be launched in the Nepali market from the end of this month. They are said to be environmentally friendly and excellent for passenger transport.
6 years or 3 lakh km Warranty, 41.86-kilowatt-hour battery, lithium-ion battery pack, 285 km range on a single charge and leather-finished seats are some of the prime features of these vans.
They both offer 360-degree Views (bird-eye view), the first-of-its-kind facility in the van segment and the highest ground clearance of 205 mm in the segment. The vans also boast 400 Ltr. boot space (the first ever feature in particularly the category of the 11-seater van)
“Currently, Nepal’s transport sector is being electrified for its green, sustainable future. And, the introduction of electric vans will help contribute to this drive by reducing carbon emissions,” states Mahesh Pal, Managing Director of Mega Business Group.
CHTC Motors, a China Central government company, is a subsidiary of the Sinomach Group, one of the 500 Fortune companies in the world. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in research and development, production and sales of new energy vehicles and core components.
