Buddha expands its fleet size by purchasing new ATR aircradt

KATHMANDU, JUNE 30: Buddha Air, a leading private airline company, has expanded its fleet size by acquiring a new ATR aircraft. The 72-seater, which landed in Kathmandu last Friday (June 28), belongs to the ATR 72-500 series. It has a registration number of 9N-ANZ and is imported from France.
The company plans to operate this newly bought plane from the start of the upcoming Nepali month of Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August). It will offer air service targeting destinations like Surkhet, Dhangadhi, and others.
Buddha Air now possesses 3 aircraft belonging to the ATR 42-320 series and 15 to the ATR 72-500 series, including the latest one. Through them, it operates 150 domestic flights every day.
