Hyundai's “Zero Emission, Zero Interest” scheme

KATHMANDU, JULY 4: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has announced a new offer titled “Zero Emission, Zero Interest.” Under this offer, customers who purchase the Hyundai KONA electric vehicle (EV) can enjoy a 0% interest rate for 5 years with a down payment of 50%. The offer also includes easy financing, documentation, and processing.

The company introduced this special offer to enhance the accessibility and affordability of the Hyundai KONA, acknowledging the rising interest in electric vehicles, according to a press release issued by the company.

The Hyundai KONA EV is powered by a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, offering a range of up to 305 km on a single charge. Its electric motor produces 134 hp and 395 Nm of instant torque. Additionally, a 100 kW DC fast charger can charge the battery to 80% in just 54 minutes.

Regarding pricing, the Kona Electric GL is priced at Rs 59,96,000, while the Kona Electric GLS variant is available at Rs 64,96,000.
