Nepal-Japan labour agreement to take place in Kathmandu soon
Kathmandu, Jan 11 . A Japanese team is likely to arrive in Kathmandu for signing the Nepal-Japan labour pact in the near future.
In a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today, Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Taro Kono who was on a two-day Nepal visit informed that the signing of labour agreement would take place in Kathmandu, shared the PM’s secretariat.
On the occasion, Japanese Minsiter Kono pledged to extend cooperation from Japan to make the Nepal Visit Year-2020 a success.
He also expressed confidence that the bilateral agreement on air service would help promote Nepal’s tourism.
Prime Minister Oli extended thanks for the continued support from Japan for the socio-economic development of the country.
The PM also urged the Japanese minister to channelize support in the development priorities of Nepal including modernization of agriculture sector, energy production and infrastructure development.
