Nepal vs Bermuda XI practice match washed out

Kathmandu, April 26 – The practice match scheduled for Friday between Nepal and host Bermuda XI ahead of the ICC World Cricket Division League 3, had to be called off due to inclement weather.
According to Raman Siwakoti, the technical analyst in the Nepali team, the match was cancelled due to a wet outfield caused by overnight rain.
The Nepali team however took part in net practice for three hours at Rangers Club ground at South Hampton. The team will practice at St. Davis ground tomorrow.
Along with Nepal, host Bermuda, the USA, Italy, Oman and Uganda are taking part in the tournament. Nepal will start its campaign with a match against the USA on April 28.
Earlier, the Nepali team’s tour of the Caribbean nation had been uncertain as the British High Commission in New Delhi delayed granting transit visa to the players.
Nepal squad: Paras Khada (captain), Gyanendra Malla, Anil Mandal, Subash Khakurel, Pradeep Airee, Shakti Gauchan, Sarad Vesawkar, Prithu Baskota, Basanta Regmi, Binod Bhandari, Sanjam Regmi, Amrit Bhattarai, Chandra Saud and Rahul BK.
